My name is Ulrike Sick, a freelance translator living in Berlin who translates from English and French into German. I took on my first translation projects after obtaining my Abitur (higher education entrance qualification) whilst gaining work experience in daily journalism, and over time I have specialised in translating into German. I graduated with a Master’s degree in History and Literary Studies from Freie Universität Berlin and gained my University Certificate in French Economic Translation at the AKAD Private University of Applied Sciences in Leipzig.

I am a sworn translator for French, authorised by Hanover Regional Court, which qualifies me to produce accurate translations of your official documents and legal instruments into German. I have more than 20 years of experience in the fields of economics, law, marketing, media, culture and tourism.
